The sizes listed below are based on back length measurement only. For best fit, please provide hound's exact breed, weight, back length, general build description, (thin, average or chubby), and gender.
Italian Greyhound
12" and 13" = small
14" and 15" = medium
16" and 17" = large
Whippet / Medium Sighthound
18" and 19" = small
20" and 21" = medium
22" and 23" = large
24" and 25" = X-large
(NOTE: This is not cut for Greyhounds. Please use Greyhound Chart below for Greyhounds.)
Greyhound / Larger Sighthound
24" and 25" = small
26" and 27" = medium
28" to 30" = large
31" to 34" = X-large (English Style Coat only.)

• FIRST, with the dog standing, raise its head until you can find the angle where the neck meets the back.

• THEN, starting in that angle, where neck meets back, measure down the spine to just where the tail begins. In other words, NO neck, ALL the back, NO tail.
